KARABA (PC-034) Region From: Likely Isfahan or Shiraz, Persia. Estimated Date of Production: Mid to late 1700s. Dimensions: 282 mm in height, 194 mm in circumference. Weight: 916 grams Colour: Lighter green. Light content residue remains. Technique: Smooth base, freeblown, double string rim, bottle one roped. Sheared and unpolished (jagged) lip. Description: Standard size Karaba in a “bottle green” colour reminiscent of European and British bottles of this era. Provenance: Purchased July 2012 from a dealer warehouse in NY/NJ.
